Elana Herman Evans, Associate

Elana is a native Houstonian.  In 2002, she graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University where she majored in Human and Organizational Development and minored in Spanish.  Elana then obtained her Doctorate of Jurisprudence, with honors, from the University Of Texas School of Law in 2005.

Elana's practice currently focuses on mergers and acquisitions, formation and financing of various types of business entities, general business matters and public finance. She is also developing a general real estate practice.  Prior to joining Cochran Baker, Elana spent two and half years as an associate in the Global Transactions section of King & Spalding LLP where her practice focused on mergers and acquisitions with an emphasis on the energy industry.

Elana is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.  Elana is also a member of the Junior League of Houston.  She has dedicated many hours serving as a professional mentor through various non-profit programs.
